Cerbero Base - Easy To Use Microcement Primer

Description

Cerbero Base is an insulating single-component acrylic water-based microcement primer, it's colourless and made of not-yellowing resins. Cerbero Primer is recommended before the application of Cerbero Sealer, to improve its adhesion and increase the resistance to water and to alkaline substrates.

Cerbero Base is suitable for the preparation of cementitious overlays such as Ercole® and Microbond® before the application of Cerbero Sealer

Application of Cerbero Base/primer

The surface must be perfectly hardened, structurally sound, dry, free from dirt, grease, previous sealers that could inhibit the adhesion.
Stir before using.
Apply the first coat of Cerbero Base using a short nap roller, T-bar or airless pump.
In the case of highly absorbent surfaces dilute Cerbero Base with 10% of water for the first coat in order to make the application easier (warm weather, windy etc.).
After 2 hours, proceed with the second coat, as soon as the surface is dry to the touch. Don't dilute Cerbero Base for the second coat.
It's recommended to spray Cerbero Base microcement primer onto the surface by a low-pressure pump (max 5 bar) to obtain a homogeneous coat and apply the product with a short nap roller.
Do not exceed the application of Cerbero Base and avoid puddles.
Apply Cerbero Sealer within time and following proper methods described on the related technical datasheet.
