Cerbero - Sealer for concrete and microcement

Cerbero Sealer for concrete is a transparent polyurethane finish for cementitious overlays such as Ercole® and Microbond®. It is colourless and it's made of not-yellowing resins. Combined with Cerbero Base made up a resistant and protective film to increase the resistance of the coating preserving it from abrasions and scratch, resistant to grease, acid and alkaline substances.

Cerbero Sealer is used as a superficial finish to protect low thickness cementitious overlays such as Ercole® and Microbond®. Cerbero Sealer for concrete and microcements is recommended in residential and public buildings like offices, shops, medical clinics, etc. Avoid use onto vehicle accessible surfaces.

Application of Cerbero Sealer

Make sure the surface is perfectly hardened, structurally sound, dry and previously treated with Cerbero Base (read the related technical datasheet). Before applying the first coat be sure that the surface is clean and free from dirt.
Stir the bottles before use. In a clean bucket, mix carefully Part A with Part B (catalysis ratio 5:1) for 2 minutes. The workability time of the product is around 2 hours; it may vary depending on the environmental conditions (temperature and moisture).
Proceed to apply Cerbero Sealer using a short nap roller, T-bar or airless pump. Do not exceed the application and avoid puddles on the surface.

If you want to reach an optimal result apply two coats of Cerbero Base and one coat of Cerbero Sealer.
It is possible to dilute Cerbero Sealer with 10% of water to make the application easier in specific environmental conditions (warm weather, windy, etc.)
Cerbero Sealer must be applied on a dry surface after 2-3 hours and within 8 hours after Cerbero Base. If this time is not observed, is necessary to sand the surface with 220/320-grain sandpaper before the application? The curing time of the Cerbero system (Cerbero Base and Sealer) is 72 hours, at 25°C and 65% RH.
